Through our Teacher Appreciation nominations, we were able to see exactly how our teachers our impacting our kids and community. We want to recognize each nomination that has come in. Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? She is a really good teacher and teach me a lot about music.

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? Mrs. Yan is kind and optimistic. She is always encouraging and helpful to all the students. This teacher made me smile when she tried to sing, because she wants to encourage me.

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? Mrs. Yiun is a one-of-a-kind teacher. When she first met my son in the summer of 2021. I was lost and in need of assistance and help. She was a strong advocate for my son. As he continued in her class, he has been successful. I’ve seen his fear turn into love. She constantly emails and always makes sure I am aware of everything. I could never repay her for the kindness, love, and education she provided for not only my son but every person that crosses her path. My son loves school because of her! I am so thankfully my son first school experience was amazing! Thank you, Mrs. Yiun.

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? She is an amazing teacher and allows us to eat in her room, when necessary, she also helps me learn better than most of my teachers and answers many of my questions to help me come to a conclusion.

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? My daughter is 10 years old and autistic she often has rough days Mr. Chris as we call him as one of the reasons why she smiles at school. Mr. Chris goes out of his way to make the kids smile, he’s funny, he always talks to every single kid, he knows all of them by name, and he especially makes my daughter feel important and loved. That to me is an amazing teacher helper and an all-around awesome person. He always has a smile on his face.

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? He is very nice and helpful to me and to other students. He’s very kind and funny! He always has a smile on his face which makes me smile even though I still wear a mask!

Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? Mrs. Zondiros makes me smile because she is so fun, funny and more she helps use learn so much she is the best I could have.

She is funny and we get to do fun activities.

She makes me laugh when she says a joke.

She is so funny and makes a lot of jokes and she is really kind. She also does not make us work that much 🙂

She makes smile because she is really funny also when I am sad, she will say something to keep me having a good day. Also, she is a really nice person so for the future 5 graders in her class have fun with her.

Mrs. Zuniga is one of the nicest teachers in Canyon Springs High School. She goes out of her way to help and protect her students and always comes to school with a positive and upbeat energy. She always puts a smile on everyone’s face and encourage and motivates her students.

Teachers play a significant role in our lives, and we are thankful for them and all they do for our community every single day. We understand how important their job is in student development and learning and know they work tirelessly to educate children and add value to their lives! Thank you, you are our heroes!
