Ms. Rogers is the most positive, inspirational person I know. She never fails to make us laugh and even when she is tired, she always has a smile on her face. I look forward to her class every day because I know no matter what I’ll have a good time.
She always reassures us about what we are doing and makes sure we are doing our best. She makes us the family community we are today.
She makes me smile by being a positive influence and by always bringing her positivity to our classes.
She is the most energetic and amazing teacher ever. She knows how to make her students smile and takes. a big part of our lives. She knows how to be better for us and how to make us better. I like how young and understanding she is towards us! Love Ms. Rogers!
Miss. Rogers is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had, and I don’t mean that lightly. I have had Miss. Rogers for the past three years and she has made such an impact on my life, throughout everything she was there. She always made our entire class laugh, when stretching and in pain she’d sing Beyoncé into the mic, when our class was having a bad day, she’d always take our mental health into priority, she would always do everything in her power to make us smile, while also teaching us how to become better people and dancers, we all respect and love her so much and she changes so many life’s. I had severe anxiety my freshman year and still currently have it, but she always made sure that our studio was a judgment free zone, and I will always thank her for that, she teaches us how to correct each other, but respect each other, and she will never be disappointed unless you have given her a reason too. I have had my ups and downs at Del Sol Academy, but Miss. Rogers has given me so many experiences I will never forget, and I thank her so much for that.
She always has a positive attitude and pushes me to be a better version of myself.

We’re all better people for having her in our lives.
She is fun to learn from. Silly. I like how she teaches. I enjoy everything she does.
Ms. Rosenthal is my IEP teacher and while that might not seem very special, she always advocates for me and other students when it comes to our IEPs. Why Does This Teacher Make You Smile? Ms. Rahman makes our family smile because she has gone above and beyond to create a learning environment that is diverse, inclusive, and equitable for all of her students.
As a Native American student, my son’s culture is deeply imbedded in his education journey. When we discovered he was reading below grade level, Ms. Rahman not only offered additional dedicated tutoring time after school, but she also navigated the CCSD Indian Education Opportunities Program to ensure that she utilized all resources available to maximize her ability to help my son.
When my son was later diagnosed with dyslexia, Ms. Rahman provided additional support and coordinates with his current teacher to ensure he is receiving well-rounded support between the classroom and tutoring. Because of her efforts, my son is now reading above grade level and has developed a deep love of reading.
As a busy mother herself, prior to covid, she served as grade level chair and holds an active role on the school’s family engagement committee. Miss Rahman truly has demonstrated that teaching is not simply an 8 hour per day job but that teaching is caring about the whole student and focusing on every aspect of a child’s learning including the often-overlooked cultural considerations.
