Lynn and Mario Siciliano were nominated for the Move 4 Less Moving Our Community program by their longtime friend and Las Vegas native Lee Grube. Lynn and Mario were married for 25 years before their divorce. They have maintained a good relationship, so much so that Lynn is Mario’s caregiver. Mario has health conditions that make it difficult for him to care for himself.
Lynn and Mario moved to Las Vegas 20 years ago from Clearwater, Florida. Lynn was previously a radio DJ and has worked in real estate. Through life circumstances, they needed some assistance. Lee Grube had heard about Moving Our Community and submitted the application between Christmas and New Year’s. They started calling moving companies as they were planning to move into Lee’s house. They received quotes that they were just not able to afford. Needless to say, they were appreciative and grateful when Eyrick called to say the Move 4 Less owners would pay for their move, through their Moving Our Community program. Lynn cried when Eyrick told her Move 4 Less would love to help them, moving them at no cost. She said, “Move 4 Less is helping to lift a burden off of us. Before Move 4 Less, I was just going to give up. I’m a caregiver, so it’s nice that someone is going to take care of me.”
The families selected by Move 4 Less for the Moving Our Community program were based on applications submitted during the 3rd cycle. Some of the moves have been delayed due to the families trying to find places they can afford and/or qualify for, given they may still be out of work. Move 4 Less continues to participate in a wide range of community activities throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The company has always had the heart to give back where they can. Currently, they are offering their trucks and moving staff to help move essential items throughout the valley.
