Smile! It’s Moving Day
We look a little different! We have always strived to make sure our customers are smiling on moving day and they have the least amount of stress possible. That is nothing new, it has been part of our company culture since the beginning, for over 15 years. We decided it was time to move our company culture to the forefront of our brand and allow our community to really get to know us. We are all about those smiles; our customer smiles, our team smiles, and our Las Vegas community smiles!
Our new brand reflects our commitment to our customers, to create an outstanding overall experience. We want to change the way people feel about moving day by delivering an enjoyable, stressless experience, from the moment a customer contacts us to the moment the truck drives away after moving them into their new home.
We want our community to know that we invest in ourselves which means we are invested in them. The new brand showcases what we are really about, which is so much more than just the mechanics of the moving process.
“Smile! It’s moving day!” is our message, our top priority, and our promise. We want to help ease the burden of moving and create an experience that makes our customers feel like they want to smile. If you can make someone feel like smiling, especially on one of the most stressful days of their lives, they will remember that.
Why did we decide to rebrand?
When we first opened the company, we were focused on price point and the technical process of the move. We have learned that we need to focus on the emotional aspect and create the best experience possible for our customers. If you can make someone feel like they want to smile, that is success!
We make it a priority to always learn. How can we improve our processes? How can we implement new technology to create a better experience for our customers? How can we make sure a negative review doesn’t happen again, where can we improve? How can we create a better working environment for our team? How can we help our community?
We want our community to really know us and what we are about. We want our community to trust us, to know we will always treat you, your family, and your items with care, as if they were our own. We understand that each box, each item, each piece of furniture holds memories, and we will treat that as such. We are not just a bunch of sweaty guys throwing stuff into boxes and into the truck with no regard. We are professionals, we are experienced, and we care about YOU, our customers! Plus, it is about time to have some fun and there is no better way to create an environment for fun by creating smiles!
Why did we choose the motto “Smile! It’s moving day!”?
It evokes a positive emotion from the beginning. We want our customers, team, and the community to smile! If we can make a very stressful day, less stressful, and make them feel like they want to smile, there is nothing better. It is our brand promise.
It is also an internal message that resonates within our company. We are a very forward thinking and positive mindset company. If we can do better, we will. We are always looking for ways to improve and make the overall moving experience better for our customers. We are always looking for ways to improve the company, the culture, and the emotional well-being of our team. We believe that a happy, smiling, company will always deliver a better product.
We want our community to know that we are committed to not only making our customers smile, we are committed to making our team and our community smile!
Our Team
Our company culture has always been to treat our employees right. We have one of the lowest turn-over rates of moving companies in Las Vegas. A high percentage of our team; office, sales and movers, have been with us for years. We pay over and above the market value, offer training, health benefits, 401k, bonuses, and incentives.
We believe if our employees feel valued and are given an environment to succeed, it creates loyalty. We want our team to have a place to build a career, not just clock in and out of a job. We have always felt that if we treat our employees right, make sure they feel like smiling, they in turn will do the same for our customers.
Our entire team is employed by Move 4 Less, we never hire day laborers. We drug test and run background checks for every new hire. All of our efforts are to make sure our company is at a high-quality level so we can deliver that same quality to our customers.
Our entire fleet of 25 trucks is owned by Move 4 Less. This ensures that we are ready to move our customers when they need it. This allows both the customer and our team to have peace of mind that the “tools” are readily available when they need them.
Our Las Vegas Community
Over the past 15 years we have helped numerous non-profits. We launched Moving Our Community this year in the middle of the pandemic. Moving Our Community is designed to house all of our charitable efforts and highlights one of our largest programs to give back, the Moving Our Community Program. This program offers moves at no cost, to a minimum of 4 families/individuals, that are in need each quarter. The company owners have been paying for these moves out of their own pockets.
Our vision for Moving Our Community is to grow it into a 5013c so we can do even more for our Las Vegas community. Our goal would be to donate a portion of each move (an average of 500 moves a month) to help fund our non-profit.
We feel it is our duty to give back where we can. We have always been a company that believes and acts to give back.

We care and give back to our community, we reward our team for doing an outstanding job servicing our clients, and we are always looking for ways to improve. We will continue to evolve and make the moving experience a positive day, a day that will be remembered not for the stress but for the relief felt by trusting the moving company you hired…we will also have a little fun =).
Did we have challenges trying to launch the new brand during the pandemic?
Yes. We were set to launch in April. If you have seen a few of our trucks or the guys in shirts with the new brand showcased, that is why.
We had to move our focus to survival and maintaining our company under the new regulations and the shift in the marketplace. We are extremely happy to report that we did not have to lay off any of our team and are now actually looking to hire new members.
We ran into some logistical issues with the photo and video shoot. We wanted to make sure everyone was safe, so we pushed that back, a few times. The safety of our team, customers, and vendors involved with the rebrand, was always the top priority. Once we knew we could execute the items needed in a safe way, we proceeded. We were finally able to have our photo and video shoot at the beginning of August with proper safety protocols put into place.
Timing is critical to a new brand launch. When the pandemic first hit, we decided the timing of our message to “smile” didn’t feel right. We felt as though now is the right time because our community needs something to smile about! We need some positive energy put back into our community. If we can help our customers smile and remove even a little bit of stress from them, then we have succeeded.
Another component of the rebrand was adding a community service section to our company, Moving Our Community. Moving Our Community was meant to be announced with our new brand, however, we decided to roll it out in July (2020) due to what is happening. The Moving Our Community Program was created to offer moves at no cost, to a minimum of 4 families/individuals, that are in need each quarter. The first cycle was announced in July.
We are excited to launch the second cycle of the Moving Our Community Program in October! We are ready to help people feel those smiles! We need some fun, positivity, and a little stress lifted and if we can help do that, then that is what we are going to do!
Now that we have a better grasp on what the marketplace is doing, have implemented the safety procedures, and have shifted our plan, we were able to move forward with the rebrand (no pun intended…ok maybe it is)!
What can the community expect from Move 4 Less?
Simply put, smiles! Happy customers, happy employees, and a happy community. It sounds very simple but there is a lot of work and dedication from our team to make sure we can deliver this emotion and our promise.
We offer a great value, an outstanding experience and well over 15 years of moving experience. Our ultimate satisfaction and joy come from moving our customers into the new chapters of their lives, whether it be into a new home locally, across the country, or even into a new office space. We know that moving is stressful. Our mission and promise are to remove as much stress as possible before, during, and after the move.
The smiles on our customers faces is the most rewarding complement we can receive, to know that we took a stressful day and were able to make them smile, relax, sigh a breath of relief, by doing what we love to do, is the absolute best.
