We didn’t think it was possible to top 2021, but with the help of our incredible community and team members, we sure came close! At Move 4 Less, we are incredibly thankful for our team, customers, and our community partners who helped make all of these smiles happen. We look forward to spreading even more joy in 2023, but in the meantime, take a look at all of our 2022 smiles!
Bringing Smiles to the Community
Moving Our Community Program
This program was born in April 2020 as a way to help people and families having a hard time making ends meet during the pandemic. The program offers moves at no cost to selected Las Vegas residents who are in need.
We saw that many people were still having a hard time making ends meet in 2022, so we decided to continue this program. In 2022, we were able to help move more people, at no cost to them, who were still being affected by the pandemic.
Design a Moving Truck
In March 2022, we invited Clark County School District middle and high schools to create a design for a Move 4 Less moving truck. Our company tagline is “Smile! It’s Moving Day” and we wanted to create a fun contest with the same spirit! We chose the theme, “What makes you smile?” for the contest.
We received awesome designs and artwork from students all over the county that sure made us smile! Designs featured friends, family, food, seasons, and animals. Mr. Martin, a counselor at West Career Technical Academy, shared the contest with his students, and Hannah V. had the winning design. They both received gift baskets with gift cards and lots of goodies, and the whole class received a $1,000 gift card!
On May 3rd, 2022, there was a surprise reveal for the winner and her class at West Career Technical Academy. We surprised Hannah and her class by driving up with her design on our moving truck!

Teacher Appreciation Nominations
Teachers play a significant role in our lives, and we know how important they are to our children’s development and learning. They are an integral part of our community, and we wanted to show our appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and commitment.
We created a contest where students, teachers, parents, or anyone in the community could nominate a teacher who makes them smile. The teacher who received the most nominations won a $1500 Visa card. The program was wildly successful as there were 570 teachers nominated with 1,729 total nominations. The winner was Martin Vece from Canyon Springs High School with a total of 119 nominations.
We surprised Mr. Vece during homeroom at Canyon Springs High School with the announcement that he had won!

Create Your Dream Home Art Contest
In July 2022, we hosted our second annual Create Your Dream Home Art Contest. We invited local kids ages 5-12 to participate for a chance to win a dream backpack valued at more than $700.
We provided the kiddos who entered the contest an opportunity to pick up all necessary art supplies, along with a moving box, and create a model of their dream home. Six winners (3 winners ages 5-8 and 3 winners ages 9-12) were chosen and invited to a party at our warehouse to celebrate their dream homes and to be awarded their Dream Backpack. Each backpack included air pods, school supplies, a hydro flask, a tablet, and more!
“Our entire team was so impressed with the creativity of all of this year’s submissions,” said Maggie Lolesar, Move 4 Less general sales manager. “We particularly liked the detail and outside-the-box thinking from our six winners!”
Candlelighters Superhero 5K Sponsor
Move 4 Less was the Hydration Station and In-Kind Sponsor (trucks/manpower for 5K items) for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada’s annual Superhero 5K in September 2022. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had a great time raising money for a great cause!
Community Smile Nominations
With the Community Smile Nominations, we wanted to show our appreciation for our local everyday heroes. We created this program to highlight and appreciate those who go above and beyond for our community, specifically focusing on anyone who brings a smile to others and/or goes out of their way to help others.
November winner – U.S.Vets – Las Vegas
We were honored to present them with a $1,000 Visa card, gift appreciation basket and our gratitude for all they do. It is our privilege to recognize our everyday heroes!
December Winner – Phil Postier, Teacher at GVHS & Best Buddies Nevada Volunteer
With the help of his students, we were able to surprise Mr. Postier at school! We had the pleasure of presenting Mr. Postier with a Visa gift card and a gift basket of goodies to recognize him for how much he gives back to his students and community.

We’re Looking Forward to More Smiles in 2023!
Giving back has strengthened our relationships within our community, helped us build trust with our customers, and created an even more positive work environment for our team. Our community efforts have provided an opportunity for Move 4 Less to make a positive impact by contributing to important local causes and giving back to the community that has supported us for over 18 years.
